STORE POLICIES
All of my pieces are made by hand and may vary slightly in shape with some glaze variance from those pictured if they are items that sell in multiples like sets of bowls or plates. That is part of the beauty of handmade ceramics, and I hope you embrace this aspect and really love your unique pottery!
All sales are final.
Some satin and matte glazes, although formulated to be durable and food-safe may leave temporary cutlery marks on light coloured, satin glazes. These marks are metal deposits from your cutlery on the glazed surface. These can often be scrubbed away, however, avoid metal scouring pads as these can permanently scratch the glaze surface and leave more marks on your pottery.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
All pottery is food safe unless otherwise noted in the item description. Please see notes on microwave and dishwasher safety as it pertains to each piece. The majority of Lindsay Gravelle Ceramics are both microwave and dishwasher safe unless it is made with Black Clay, decorated with Gold Luster, or finished with a reactive, bubbling glaze. Hand-washing is the best option for items with gold luster or textured glazes.
Do not use metal scrubbers. they can scratch satin glazes.
Please note that heavily pigmented foods (ex: turmeric or frozen berries, balsamic) may eventually stain your light coloured satin glazed pieces. These glazes may also show cutlery marks over time. You can clean your pieces with a soft/natural scrubby once in a while to lessen their appearance. Even though your pottery items are designed for everyday use, they are not commercially produced, and therefore I encourage you to embrace their unique nature and signs of wear 🙂
